Indian batter Sanju Samson smashed yet another hundred in the ongoing IND vs SA 2024 T20I series and reached the three-figure mark in just 51 balls in the fourth T20I being played at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Samson hit a century in the first match of the series but achieved disappointments in the second and third game as he got out for two consecutive ducks. However, the latter has once again proven his worth by playing yet another exceptional knock. He was given terrific support by both Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma.
The Indian team began the IND vs SA 4th T20I 2024 with a bang wherein the duo of Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson added 73 runs in just 5.5 overs. While Abhishek got out for a score of 36 runs from 18 balls, Tilak Varma joined the party along with Samson and began to take on the Proteas bowlers. The duo put up stand of 157 runs until the 16th over and will now look forward to help the Indian team reach the highest total as they can. Team India had put up 230/1 on the board until the 16th over of the IND vs SA 4th T20I 2024.

Sanju Samson has proven to be among the most exceptional batters of the India national cricket team in the past few years but hasn’t been equal opportunities since the start of his career. While he made his T20I debut in 2015, the latter had to compete with the likes of many big names including MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, KL Rahul and others to make a place in the side. However, at the end, when Samson was given an opportunity he was able to make the full use of it and has cemented his place in the side.
