IND vs AUS 2nd Test: ‘Fastest Ball In Cricket’; Did Mohammed Siraj Touch 181.6 KM/PH In Reality?

The India national cricket team is currently playing against Australia in the second Test of the five-match series at the Adelaide Oval. The Indian team will look to bounce back on Day 2.

Team India was pushed back by Australia in the second Test of five-match Test series on Day 1. Australia ended the day’s play at 86/1 and currently trail by 94 runs in reply of Indian team’s first innings score of 180 runs. The Indian team will be hoping on making a comeback on Day 2 wherein they will have to dismiss set batters Marnus Labuschagne and Nathan McSweeney early. The Aussies showcased a complete team performance as Mitchell Starc picked up a six-wicket and two-fers from Pat Cummins and Scott Boland. On the other hand, Labuschagne and McSweeney are unbeaten on 20 and 38 runs respectively.

Did Mohammed Siraj Really Bowl 181.6 km/ph Ball?

While the Australian team has a complete control over the match, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj shocked the fans with his pace. The latter touched the pace of 181.6 km/ph. A glimpse for the same is going viral on the social media. However, it isn’t true and was a technical goof up from the broadcaster channel 7. Siraj also turned furious on Marnus Labuschagne and threw the ball back at him as he came he stepped away from the stumps due to some disturbance on the side screen.

The Aussies were under immense pressure ahead of IND vs AUS 1st Test. The hosts didn’t were desperate enough to make a comeback and have certainly put one step forward to achieve the goal. However, the Indian pace attack has quality bowlers in form of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Harshit Rana and Ravichandran Ashwin.
