Jaiswal has scored 1798 runs in 19 Test matches (36 innings) at a average of 52.88 with four centuries and ten half-centuries. Tough Challenge Ahead In England

The Test series in England, that is set to be held on June 20, will present a tough test of Yashasvi Jaiswal, considering the famously swinging conditions. His tour thus far has been uneventful, with just one half-century in four innings of warm-up games against England Lions. This puts pressure on the young player to get accustomed to the conditions at the earliest and perform when it counts.

Strong Overseas Form Boosts Confidence

After a sluggish beginning in England, Jaiswal has proved himself abroad. He was India’s second-highest run-getter in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 with 391 runs in 10 innings at 43.44, with a hundred and two fifties. This sort of form will boost his confidence when he goes to face the England Tests.
