Match With A Super Over!
The qualifier-2 match was to be played between Lucknow Falcons and Kanpur Superstars on Thursday. Due to bad weather, this match could not be played in 20-20 overs at Ekana Stadium. Late night it was decided to conduct a super over between the two teams, in which Kanpur Superstars defeated Lucknow Falcons one-sidedly.

Superstars’ Domination
Kanpur Superstars team dominated in the super over. The team’s bowler Mohsin Khan bowled brilliantly and restricted Lucknow Falcons to 7 runs. After this, Sameer Rizvi of Kanpur Superstars hit a six over the long off fielder on the third ball of the over and got the team a ticket to the final.

Lucknow Would Have Benefited
In the second qualifier, it rained till late night, due to which it seemed that the toss would not be possible and Lucknow Falcons, who finished above Kanpur Superstars in the group stage, would directly enter the final. But the toss took place at around 11.35 pm and a super over match was held between the two teams. In which the batsmen of Lucknow Falcons put up a flop show.

The title match of UP T20 League 2024 will be played tomorrow evening at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. A team between Kanpur Superstars and Meerut Mavericks will become the champion of this tournament.
