Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has strongly condemned Pakistan for breaking the ceasefire with India on Sunday. The cricketer didn’t mince his words and took to social media platform X, formerly Twitter.
India and Pakistan both agreed on ceasefire after days of attacks which was facilitated by the US President Donald Trump. Hours after the ceasefire was declared Pakistan was again back to basics and attacked several areas. Following this violation, “Shikhar Dhawan strongly posted and wrote: Ghatiya desh ne fir apna ghatiyapan poori duniya ke aage dikha diya. #Pakistan” (“That pathetic country has once again shown its disgraceful behavior to the whole world. #Pakistan”)

“We take very serious notice of the violations. We call upon Pakistan to address these violations and deal with the situation with seriousness and responsibility. The armed forces are maintaining a strong vision on the situation. They have been given instruction to deal strongly with any instances of repetition of violations of the borders along the International Borders and the Line of Control,” Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said.
It was around 9pm that the news about the ceasefire came in at Srinagar and Gujarat, there was firing accross the North-Western border of India.
