India’s ace wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant appears to have found his touch just in time for India’s Test series against England. Following a mostly dismal IPL 2025 campaign, Pant capped off the season with an outstanding century in the last match for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Now, in a net session prior to the tour of England, Pant stole the spotlight by hitting a giant six off Washington Sundar delivery onto the roof of the training complex apparently damaging some infrastructure in the process.
New Role for Pant: Test Vice-Captain
To his revival, Pant has been given more responsibility as he has been named the vice-captain of the Test team, indicating the management’s faith in his leadership skills.
