IPL 2025: Big Update! LSG Likely To Sign This Star Indian Pacer As Mayank Yadav’s Replacement

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has faced several setbacks in terms of injuries but the biggest one is of their ace pacer Mayank Yadav whose availability is still not finalised following which LSG is likely to announce a new replacement ahead of their opening match in IPL 2025.

LSG’s pace attack is in big trouble before IPL 2025. Mayank Yadav is already going through a injury setback and likely to miss early IPL matches. Another big trouble for the team is that LSG is also expecting NCA clearance for Mohsin Khan and Avesh Khan, adding to their bowling woes. To add to their woes, Australia’s all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has assured that he will be available only as a batter this season with a back injury, restricting LSG’s options as an all-rounder.

Shardul Thakur Likely To Be The Replacement Of Mayank Yadav

In the midst of their increasing injury troubles, LSG may be eyeing reinforcements. India all-rounder Shardul Thakur, who surprisingly remained unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction, was seen training at LSG’s camp on Sunday. His experience and all-round skills could bring valuable depth to the team if he is formally added as a replacement.
