The government will look into shifting the cricket stadium to another location. Such an unpleasant incident should not happen under any government. Since it is in a busy city sector, Chinnaswamy Stadium is always a nightmare for traffic when important cricket matches are going on. Usually, the venue can fit 35,000 people, but on June 4, more than 3 lakh fans came to the event. The large number of fans is thought to have caused the tragedy that hurt many and led to political drama.

Because of the event, the Karnataka government took the step of suspending key police officers, which was criticized by both opposition parties and members of the police force itself. Even Head Constable Narasimharaju was defiant and alone protested, claiming that removing senior police officers brought the force down and overlooked issues in planning and managing the crowd.
