Uttar Pradesh: 19-Year-Old BSc Student Dies By Suicide, Leaves Note For Parents — ‘I Could Not Be…’

On Monday, around 10 am, the landlord visited their house but found the room closed. When he looked through the window, he discovered the boy hanging from the ceiling. Meanwhile, the police recovered a suicide note from the room, which was purportedly written by the boy.

Prayagraj: In a shocking incident that occurred in Uttar Pradesh’s Phaphamau town, a 19-year-old BSc student allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself late Sunday night. According to reports, police arrived at the scene after receiving information and took the body under their possession. It was later sent for a post mortem examination.

Boy Was An Aspirant Of Competitive Exams

The deceased, a second year BSc student, was also an aspirant of competitive examinations. He reportedly committed suicide when his parents were off to their native place in Bhadohi. Reports stated that he was preparing for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exams.

What Was Written In The Suicide Note?

Meanwhile, the police recovered a suicide note from the room, which was purportedly written by the boy. As per SHO Ashiwani Kumar Singh, the words written in the note were, “forgive me mummy-papa, I could not be a good son.”

IIT Kharagpur Student Found Dead In Hostel Room

In yet another separate incident that took place on Sunday, a 22-year-old student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur was found dead in his hostel room. The deceased, identified as Aniket Walkar, was a native of Maharashtra’s Gondia district and was in the fourth year. Kharagpur Police found his body hanging in his hostel room and suspected a case of suicide.
