Rajasthan: 17-Year-Old Student Dies By Suicide After Scoring 53% In Class 10 Board Exam

After obtaining a low mark in class 10th, a 17-year-old student allegedly died by suicide in Rajasthan’s Kota district.

Incident occurred under Vigyan Nagar police station limits

According to IANS, the student took the extreme step by jumping in front of a train. The police stated that the exact cause will be ascertained after a full investigation. The incident took place under the Vigyan Nagar police station limits. The student has been identified as Dushyant.

Cops used bike details to identify victim

After receiving the information, police rushed to the spot and identified the student using his bike, which was parked nearby. The police officials tracked the number to identify the bike owner and informed the student’s family members, who were shattered after hearing the news. 

Student went to pick up goods

The student had started working at a shop. The shopkeeper had sent him to get some goods, but he did not return. The shopkeeper informed the student’s family members.  

Student was upset over scoring 53%

Dushyant’s friend said that he was upset after witnessing only 53% marks in the 10th Rajasthan Board exam results. Dushyant’s friends say that he was anticipating the first-division result. His family members also said that he was a bright student and was expecting better news. 

The police sent the body for postmortem and launched a probe into the matter. 

Hapur: Two police officers injured during encounter with notorious criminal

Two police personnel, including a constable, were injured during an encounter in Hapur on Wednesday, where Naveen Kumar, a notorious sharpshooter of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was killed by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) and Delhi Police’s Special Cell.

Additional SP, Noida, Raj Kumar Mishra, stated, “Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) Noida unit and Delhi Police’s Special Cell yesterday got information that the absconding accused of a murder case of Farsh Bazar is visiting Hapur. When police intercepted the criminal, he started firing at our team. In retaliatory fire by the Police, the criminal was injured, and later In retaliatory fire by the Police, the criminal was injured, and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. He had more than 20 cases registered against him. He was an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In this operation, two police personnel, including a constable, sustained injuries.”
