Residents of Kankarbagh in Patna were shocked after they heard multiple gunshots on Tuesday afternoon when a heavy police force was camped outside a house to arrest criminals. In an attempt to escape, the criminals barged inside a house and fired at police.

According to reports on Tuesday, four criminals allegedly opened fire at a building located in the Kankarbagh area in Patna around 2 pm.
When the police team rushed to the spot to nab the suspects, they barged inside a house. Later, a heavy police force comprising senior police officers and STF reached the spot to nab the suspects.
In an attempt to nab the suspects, police blocked all the entry and exit of the area and nabbed the suspects after hours of efforts, police said.
According to Patna SSP Awakash Kumar, “With the help of teamwork and better strategy, we managed to nab all four suspects.”
Police said the investigation revealed that a fight took place following a property dispute between two parties. Later, four criminals allegedly fired more than five rounds and managed to escape in a building when the police team rushed to nab them.
