IMD Weather Update: Two active western disturbances will continue to affect the weather in the coming days. Currently, the first western disturbance positioned as a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan and East Rajasthan is likely to impact the Western Himalayan Region until today, February 3, 2025. Meanwhile, another western disturbance brewing over South Iran and its neighbourhood is also expected to bring rain and snowfall over the Himalayan region on the 4th and 5th of February. Light rainfall will be witnessed across Northwest India on February 4 and 5.
Dense Fog To Blanket Bihar, Odisha
According to IMD’s latest update and data, dense fog is expected to blanket North India during the next 24 hours and reduce its intensity thereafter. The affected states include Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh. Visibility below 50 m was reported in isolated pockets of Punjab & Uttar Pradesh and dense fog between 50-199 m range was witnessed in isolated pockets of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, and Gangetic West Bengal.

AQI, Weather Forecast In Delhi
Delhiites woke up to ‘very poor’ air quality on Monday with an AQI of 313 at 6 am. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts partly cloudy weather on 3rd February and generally cloudy weather on 4th February. Delhi may experience clear weather from the 5th of February.
According to IMD, there has been a rise in minimum temperatures up to 1-2 °C over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures across the city were recorded in the range of 22 to 26°C and 11 to 13°C respectively.
