Haryana Poll of Polls: The battle for power in Haryana is over, with the final verdict locked in the EVMs. Elections were held for 90 seats in a single phase on Saturday, followed by exit poll predictions. According to these estimates, Congress seems poised to secure a clear majority, while the BJP, which has ruled for the past 10 years, appears to be on its way out. Congress is expected to win over 50 seats, while BJP might secure more than 25 seats. INLD is estimated to get 4 seats, JJP 2 seats, and others around 4 seats.
Seat Predictions by Various Polls:
Nine different “poll of polls” estimates have emerged for Haryana. According to Dainik Bhaskar, the BJP alliance could win 19-29 seats, the Congress alliance 44-54 seats, and others between 1-9 seats. India Today-My Axis India predicts Congress winning 59 seats, BJP 21 seats, and others between 2-6 seats.
Dhruv Research predicts Congress securing 57 seats, BJP 27, and others between 0-6 seats. According to CNN 24, Congress is expected to win 59 seats, BJP 21, and others 10 seats. Republic-Matrize estimates Congress winning 55-62 seats, BJP 18-24, and others 2-5 seats.

Peoples Pulse forecasts Congress winning 49-61 seats, BJP 20-32, and others between 0-5 seats. Datansh-Red Mike predicts BJP winning 50-55 seats, Congress 20-25, and others between 0-4 seats. According to P-Mark, Congress could win 51-61 seats, BJP 27-35, and others between 3-6 seats. Money Control’s exit poll predicts Congress winning 58 seats, BJP 24, and others 6 seats.
Poll of Polls Summary:
Overall, the ‘poll of polls’ results indicate that Congress is comfortably crossing the majority mark of 46 seats. Congress is expected to win around 57 seats, while BJP may end up with around 25 seats, and others might secure 8 seats.
Congress’ Key Support: Jawans, Farmers, and Wrestlers
If these exit polls hold true and Congress forms the government, it will likely be due to strong support from youth, farmers, and wrestlers. The protests by farmers and wrestlers played a significant role in this election. Additionally, the Agniveer scheme issue seemed to work in Congress’ favor, as they criticized it heavily. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi even stated that Agniveers would end up as laborers, and claimed that the money from the Agniveer scheme was being funneled into Adani Defense.
