The Ganga Expressway will start from Bijauli village on Meerut-Bulandshahr (NH 334), while it will terminate near Judapur Dadu village on NH 19 in Prayagraj.

Uttar Pradesh leads the way in expressway development, with advanced expressways being constructed to connect regions of the state. Some of the routes are uniquely designed to accommodate not just vehicles but also aircraft landings. Previously, the Agra-Lucknow expressway was developed with this capability, where fighter jets like Jaguar, Sukhoi, and Mirage have demonstrated their powers.

Airstrip For Emergency Landings Near Shahjahanpur

The airstrip built near Shahjahanpur along the Ganga Expressway serves as a landing zone for helicopter and plane operations when emergency situation occur. The total expense for this project is Rs 36,000 crore. Media reports indicate that Ganga Expressway construction will be finalized at a faster pace.
