Senior Congress leaders protested in Kota over various issues including NEET-UGC NET paper leak, inflation, and electricity. During the protest, they broke the law and obstructed police duties. Congress members attempted to remove barricades to move forward and also criticized police officers from the stage. In response, police filed cases under several sections including obstructing government work.

In this case, police have filed two separate cases. The first FIR names Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra, opposition leader Tikaram Julie, and former minister Ashok Chandna. The second FIR includes former MLA Prahlad Gunjal, rural Congress president of Kota Bhanu Pratap, state secretary Naeemuddin Guddu, and district Congress president Ravindra Tyagi.

Rajasthan PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra criticized the central government heavily regarding the paper leak case. He questioned why if three exams can be canceled, the fourth exam cannot be canceled. During this time, he also demanded the cancellation of the NEET-UG entrance exam.
