’24 Crore Muslims Cannot Be Thrown Into The Ocean’ – Farooq Abdullah Calls For Unity And Equality

Abdullah highlighted the necessity of treating all communities with respect and fairness, asserting that the government cannot simply disregard the rights of 24 crore Muslims in India.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah expressed deep concerns over the growing divide in society based on religious lines. Speaking to reporters at party headquarters in Srinagar, Abdullah emphasized the importance of brotherhood and urged the government to take immediate action to ensure the safety and equality of all citizens, particularly the Muslim community, which he noted is feeling increasingly vulnerable.

He called for an immediate ceasefire in the region and urged the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to ensure humanitarian aid reaches those in need.
