In an official release, the Delhi traffic police advised travelers to steer clear of these roads, cooperate, and use public transportation extensively. They also recommended careful planning and ample time allocation for those traveling to ISBTs, railway stations, or airports.

“The Delhi traffic police advised the general public to remain patient, follow traffic rules and discipline, obey instructions from traffic personnel at intersections, and stay informed,” the official release stated.

DCW Traffic Police Prashant Gautam briefed about the preparedness for Narendra Modi’s oath-taking day, stating, “Approximately 1100 police officials will be on duty today. We have fully briefed our traffic staff. Access to Rashtrapati Bhawan and the surrounding roads will undergo restriction.”

Prashant Gautam, DCP Traffic, stated, “We have already shared all the information on our social media handles. The public should plan their journey accordingly and are advised to review our advisory once.”
