People are in quagmire after experiencing such weather conditions in May. They are thinking the cause of the weather change. They are in bewilderment whether they should be happy or be worry about the present weather situation.

“I have never seen such weather condition in May throughout my life, this is the first time I am experiencing this. I think this is happening due to global warming’ said Ram Charit Singh, a resident of Indirapuram.

The rain on Monday morning had lashed entire national capital bringing respite from the scorching heat.

Another local opines that the reason behind the weather change is due to the increasing pollution and cutting of trees.

“All these changes are taking place due to climatic change and global warming. People are cutting trees, pollution has increased, and all these changes are the result of this,” said Snigdha Karna, resident of Vasundhara.

According to IMD, only nine days in May saw maximum temperatures in Delhi exceed 40 degrees, with two days of heatwave conditions impacting specific areas of the national capital.
