The way he chose to release the 19th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, talked about the schemes for farmers and slammed the opposition leaders on the issue of Maha Kumbh, it appears that the BJP stalwart has taken the plunge well before time.
Announcing the setting up of the Farmers’ Producers Organisation in Khagaria, which may be joined by the farmers producing maize, banana and paddy, PM Modi said that it was the 10,000th FPO.
Recalling the Union Budget 2025, Narendra Modi said that it was decided to set up the Makhana Board in Bihar. Calling makhana the superfood, he said that it would be exported to the world’s markets.
Narendra Modi Rakes Up Issue Of Maha Kumbh
Narendra Modi chose to whip the opposition leaders in Bihar with the stick of Maha Kumbh 2025. He said that more than the population of entire Europe has already taken a bath in the Maha Kumbh, but those being involved in “jungle raj” are abusing the Kumbh.
PM Modi said that those who are irritated with Ram Janmabhooi have not left any opportunity to attack the Maha Kumbh and the people of Bihar would not pardon them.
Without taking names, Narendra Modi said that the NDA is working to preserve the legacy of the glorious past, but those being involved in the jungle raj hate the legacy and beliefs of the people.
PM Modi Rakes Up ‘Jungle-Raj’ Issue
The BJP has accused Rashtriya Janata Dal of being involved in ‘jungle raj’ in Bihar when it was in power from 1990 to 2005.
Analysts believe, Narendra Modi has used the occasion to slam the opposition, rake up the emotive issue of Maha Kumbh and talk about the programmes of his government.
He chose to release the 19th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana from Bihar also with the intention of showing that his government is helping the farmers of the country.
Modi Talks About Baba Ajgaibinath, Mandarachal
PM Narendra Modi also took other emotive issues and symbols of Bihar to reach out to the people. He talked about Baba Ajgaibinath and Mandarachal Hill, which are situated in Bihar and are visited by lakhs of people every year.
Bihar Assembly Elections are most likely to be held in November this year and the BJP and JD(U) are likely to contest the polls together. The NDA has announced to contest the election under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
RJD Hits Back, Tejaswi Yadav Asks 15 Questions
The Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar assembly, Tejaswi Yadav has slammed PM Modi for the backwardness of the state and asked him as many as 15 questions.
He said that his NDA has been in the state government as well as the Union government and he has been the Prime Minister of the state for the last 11 years, but Bihar has not received anything.
He took to social media platform X and asked 15 questions. He asked PM Modi why the people and farmers of Bihar have the lowest income in the country and the state is at the end of the list in literacy. He also asked why PM Narendra Modi has not allotted a textile park in Bihar and what happened to the special status of Bihar as promised earlier.
Tejaswi Yadav Taunts Modi
Analysts believe, the RJD has upped the ante with these questions and came out with blistering attck on the BJP as well.
Tejaswi Yadav also taunted PM Narendra Modi that as the Bihar Assembly Elections are approaching, he will love Chhath Maiya, Sita mata, Janaki, Buddha, Mahavir, Karpoori Thakur, ‘thekua’, ‘litti-chokha’ and mango etc.
