Khandwa: In a rather unusual and surprising turn of events, a 12-year-old boy recently took an unexpected and bold step. Devotion for Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav led him to board a train from his home in Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh. According to reports, the boy left his home without informing his family members with the sole purpose of meeting his political idol. Police revealed he even skipped his school two days ago and sneaked out to travel via train to UP.
A missing report was filed at Thane police station by the boy’s family, however, the police couldn’t find him. It was only after the train arrived Khandwa and the GRP team noticed a child traveling alone when the boy was found. Upon interrogation, the boy who was without any ticket, told police he wanted to go to UP to meet Akhilesh Yadav.
What happened Next? The child was deboarded at Khandwa railway station and the entire matter was brought to light before the Khandwa Child Welfare Committee Chairman Praveen Sharma. When they asked him about the bold step, the boy replied that he is a huge fan of Akhilesh Yadav. Just like the SP leader met another 12-year-old boy Navrattan Yadav three years ago, he wanted to meet him, the minor added.
Sharma later informed the boy’s parents. His father Rajkumar Yadav, who works as a carpenter in Mumbai, told that his son has memorized not only Akhilesh Yadav’s speaking style but also his speeches. He has also his own ID on Instagram where he uploads his videos and his speeches. The boy was later handed over to his parents.
