Toxic Update: Kannada actor Yash rose to global fame after starring in ‘KGF 1 and 2’, which became massive hits. His fans are eagerly waiting to see him on the big screen again and he will soon star in ‘Toxic’. Not much has been revealed about the film and there has been a lot of speculations regarding its lead actresses. In a recent interview, Yash has finally reacted to these speculations and revealed ‘Toxic’ will feature strong female characters.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Yash was asked about Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi being part of ‘Toxic’ and the actor looked visibly surprised. To this, Yash replied, “Is it?” He added, “I am not talking about it. Let us officially confirm something. Yes, there are strong women characters.”
He also talked about ‘KGF 3’ but said he is focused on ‘Toxic’ and Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Ramayana’. The actor shared, “GF 3 will happen for sure, like promised. But I’m focusing on these two projects (Toxic and Ramayana), and we keep talking about it. We have an idea, but we’ll do it once it is the right time. It’s massive.”
“It is also something which really needs all our attention. We don’t want to encash on anything. Because the audience has given us enough. We’re going to do it in a way which they’ll be proud of — because that’s a cult and a franchise that people celebrate,” Yash further added.
‘Toxic’ is directed by Geetu Mohandas and will release in theatres in 2025. On the work front, Yash will also be seen in ‘Ramayan’ in the role of Ravan. The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.
