He shared that he does not like having people around him but has to be surrounded by security. He added, “It’s sad. I never believed in security. Hate to have people around me, but it needs to be there, for a while at least, I guess. It wasn’t my time to go. Maybe I’m meant to do a few more good films… have some more nice times with family and friends. Do some more charity!”

Earlier, Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan also spoke about the stabbing incident and shared how the entire family felt gratitude after the actor was safe. She shared, “It makes you realise what truly matters. The entire family only felt gratitude because it could have gone so wrong. I am so grateful that everything is fine. It was a reminder almost of the life we have. We all talk about practising mental health. Being grateful for your life is so important. And moments like that make you realise it.”
