The long-awaited hostility between Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar has been resolved. Johar and Aaryan have sorted out their issues and will work together in a romantic movie called Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, according to what Johar shared in a recent interview.
It all started in 2021, which resulted in Aaryan being removed from Dostana 2 by the makers at Dharma Productions. There were talks of a tense relationship between the two athletes in the tennis industry for three years. In a recent talk, Johar revealed that their reconciliation arose after having a conversation privately. He said that they both wanted to overcome the issues they faced earlier. He pointed out that they had discussed things and now were able to put their problems behind them.
Johar was impressed by Aaryan’s absolute dedication and appeal as a star. “Kartik is a very popular star nowadays who works incredibly hard and has a close bond with his fans. Johar said, “He has a great instinct for screenplays,” highlighting the mutual respect between the two that eventually resulted in their collaboration. “Yes, we’ve had our share of issues, but this is a small industry – one I consider a family,” he said, acknowledging the nature of the profession. Johar stated that now, the main goal is to bring creators together on a single vision. Still, talented filmmakers want to make quality films, share important stories, and, as I regularly say, we concentrate on the main priorities instead of little details.
In the movie Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, Kartik Aaryan is teaming up with Ananya Panday. Director Sameer Vidwans, who helped Aaryan in SatyaPrem Ki Katha, is responsible for this movie. The film by Dharma Productions will reach theaters on February 13, 2026 as a Valentine’s Day special. He is also in the process of finishing the film Naagzilla, which will come out in theaters on August 14, 2026. This agreement means an important improvement and creates new possibilities for joint efforts in the industry.
