Did Elvish Yadav Lie About Jaipur Police Escorting Him For Filming? Here’s What Cops Said

Elvish Yadav will feature in a music video and was earlier in Jaipur to film the video.

Elvish Yadav, who gained a massive fan following after winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, has been busy with several projects. He also claimed that Rajasthan Police was escorting him during the shoot and also showed a video of police video in front of him. As per reports, Rajasthan police has denied these claims.

According to India Today, the police has completely denied Elvish’s claims in the video. Pratap Singh, in the video, revealed that the police vehicle belongs to a local station and that a permanent vehicle would be joining them shortly.

Elvish also said in the video, “Rajasthan Police was taking care of me throughout the day.” India Today reported that no escort vehicle was provided to Elvish and this was confirmed by Additional Commissioner of Police Rameshwar Singh.

Earlier, Elvish hit the headlines after he made some comments about Chum Darang in his conversation with Rajat Dalal. His comments did not sit well with Chum’s fans as they called it ‘racist’ and ‘offensive’. Chum finally reacted to Elvish’s comments about her and openly expressed her anger.

Reacting to Elvish’s statement about her, Chum wrote on her Instagram story, “Disrespecting someone’s identity & name is not ‘fun.’ Mocking someone’s achievements is not ‘banter.’ It’s time we draw the line between humor and hate. What’s even more disappointing is that this wasn’t just about my ethnicity—my hard work and a film backed by a visionary like Sanjay Leela Bhansali were also disrespected.”

She added, “To my fellow Northeasterners and everyone who has faced racism—I see you, I hear you, and I stand with you. We all deserve respect, dignity, and equality. Let’s raise our voices against racism and promote a culture of empathy, kindness, and understanding. #NoRoomForRacism #NotOkayWithRacism.”

For the unversed, Elvish had made fun of Chum’s name in front of Rajat Dalal. He said, “Karanveer ko pakka COVID tha kyunki Chum kisko pasand aati hai bhai, itna taste kiska kharab hota hai! Aur Chum ke toh naam mein hi ashleelta hai… Naam Chum aur kaam Gangubai Kathiawadi mein kiya hai.”

Elvish later said that he did not make any racist remark against Chum and revealed that he has removed that part from the video.
