Australian cricketer David Warner is set to make his acting debut in the Telugu film Robinhood, directed by Venky Kudumula. The cricketer will appear in a cameo role in this action-packed entertainer, much to the excitement of his fans. The news was revealed by one of the film’s producers, Y Ravi Shankar, during a promotional event for another film, Kingston.
Y Ravi Shankar confirmed that Warner’s cameo will add a unique touch to Robinhood. The producer expressed his excitement about launching the cricketer into Indian cinema, stating, “We are very happy to have launched David Warner in Indian cinema with our ‘Robinhood’.” He also apologised to director Venky Kudumula for revealing the cameo before the official announcement.

About Robinhood And Nithiin’s Role
Robinhood stars popular Telugu actor Nithiin in the lead role. Nithiin plays a character named Honey Singh, a thief who robs from the rich to help the poor. The film’s plot follows Honey as he takes on a series of robberies without any personal agendas, driven solely by courage and fearlessness. His character is willing to confront anyone for the right cause.
Delayed Release And Team Effort
Originally scheduled to release last year, Robinhood has been pushed back to March 28 this year. The film has generated significant buzz, especially with the involvement of cricketer David Warner. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, the film also stars Sree Leela alongside Nithiin.
Music for Robinhood is composed by National Award-winning music director G V Prakash Kumar, with Sai Sriram handling cinematography. Raam Kumar is in charge of the art direction, and the film’s editing is done by Koti.
