Actors Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Agastya Nanda, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, and Vedang Raina, along with the film’s director Zoya Akhtar, promoted their recent release, ‘The Archies,’ on the latest episode of Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’.
During the show, Amitabh Bachchan had an enjoyable interaction with the young actors. There was a moment of surprise when Suhana Khan appeared unaware of one of the most prestigious honors – the Padma Shri – that her father, actor Shah Rukh Khan, had received in 2005.
In the KBC episode, during the ‘Super Sandook’ round, Amitabh Bachchan posed a question about Shah Rukh Khan to Suhana, Vedang, and Zoya. To everyone’s surprise, Suhana’s lack of awareness about her father’s Padma Shri honor in 2005 left Amitabh Bachchan visibly surprised. The question was Shah Rukh Khan has not yet received which of these honours?” The options given were: “(a) Padma Shri, (b) Legion of Honour, (c), L’Etoile d’Or and (d) Volpi Cup.”
When Amitabh Bachchan asked the question, Suhana promptly responded with “(a) Padma Shri.” The answer was wrong and the righte answer was Volpi Cup it. This answer surprised both Amitabh and Vedang. Vedang expressed his shock, stating, “How could you get that wrong?” Amitabh, with an open-mouthed reaction, expressed disbelief that Shah Rukh Khan’s own daughter was not aware of the specific award her father had received. Shah Rukh Khan was indeed honored with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2005.

Amitabh Bachchan, reacting to Suhana’s mistake, jokingly said “Beti ko pata nahi hai ki pita ko kya mila hai. Keval baap ne itna hi bata ke bheja hai ki wo saamne baitha hai usne tumhare baap ka kirdaar adaa kiya hai. Toh unko bol dena ki bhaiyya jara aaram se sawaal pucho. Abhi itna aaram se sawaal pucha phir bhi uska jawab nahi de payi ye.”
Earlier in the show, when Amitabh Bachchan asked Suhana if Shah Rukh Khan gave her any advice before appearing on the quiz show, she humorously replied, “Unhone kahan ki aapko bas yaad dila du ki aapne unke father ka role play kiya hai toh ask me easy questions”.
‘The Archies’ started streming on Netflix from December 7.
