As though Allu Arjun and Atlee coming together for the first time was not exciting enough, we’ve now come to know that the Pushpa star will play four characters in Atlee’s next film, which makes the star one-up on Amitabh Bachchan and Dilip Kumar, who played three roles in Mahaan and Bairaag, respectively.
So how did this quartet of roles happen?
Over to a source in the know in Hyderabad. “Initially Allu Arjun was to play only one role. But then Atlee suggested Arjun play the grandfather, the father and the two sons. This is going to take a lot of intricate special effects. But Allu Arjun is up to it. The film may be delayed a bit to work in the changes in the script.”
The Atlee film also stars Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur.
