New Delhi: A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut, killed his wife and burried her under a bridge as he wanted to marry a girl from Saudi. The man had demanded dowry from the victim but killed her as the latter failed to fulfill his demands.

The nation was already dealing with horrific details of the Shraddha Murder Case while, another murder case has sent shockwaves among the people of Meerut who saw the dead body of the girl.

As per Amar Ujala, as soon as the police received information about the dead body, they reached at the spot to send it for postmortem. The post mortem report made sensational revelations in the case.

According to the police, Shafiquddin’s son Nizamuddin had reached the SSP office on Friday with his family members. He told that 11 years ago daughter Nasreen was married to Aamir, a resident of Humayun Nagar.

It is alleged that only a few days after the marriage, the daughter’s husband started demanding dowry. He has illegal relations with a foreign woman whom he wanted to marry.

When Nasreen protested, she was murdered on November 29. The father had demanded to get the dead body removed from the grave and get the post-mortem done.

After this, DM Deepak Meena had issued orders to the Lisadi Gate police that the dead body of the woman should be removed from the grave. After this, his post-mortem should be done. The body was exhumed on Sunday, after which the post mortem report revealed the mystery of the murder.

Strangled to Death 

In the post mortem report, it appeared that the victim was strangled to death. During the investigation, it was found that husband Aamir Khan had committed the crime in connection with his marriage with a Saudi Arabian resident girlfriend who was living abroad.

Police registered a murder case against husband, father-in-law Jan Mohammad, mother-in-law Zakroon, brother-in-law Nadeem and Firoz at Lisadigate police station. After this, on November 25, the in-laws buried the dead body without informing the parents. On the complaint of the maternal uncle, the dead body was removed from the grave and the post-mortem was done.
