Noida, Uttar Pradesh: The work of developing New Noida is progressing rapidly. The new city, spanning about 209 square km, include 80 villages: 60 in Bulandshahr and 20 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar. According to News24 reporter Junaid Akhtar, the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar is already a member of the Authority Board. Now District Magistrate of Bulandshahr and Vice Chairperson of Khurja Development Authority are also nominated as board members. Following this, the land acquisition and compensation rate will be set for Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR).
Noida Authority To Have More Interference
Under Noida Authority, all the decisions taken are initially presented before the board members. In such a situation, Noida Authority acts as the authorized nodal of DNGIR and all the work related to compensation and acquisition is undertaken by them. Therefore, it is believed that the Noida Authority will likely have more interference in this entire process. On the other hand, an official from the authority confirmed that 60 villages notified for New Noida are from Bulandshahr. Therefore, the District Magistrate from the mentioned place is being included in the board.
Determination Of population Based On Satellite Map
Noida Authority has confirmed that efforts are underway to stop illegal constructions on the land notified for DNGIR. Additionally, warning boards are being installed. It was reported that the satellite maps of the date of notification will be made its basis. Under it, the constructions visible on this map will be considered populated and the rest as illegal. Noida Authority is planning to obtain the land from the farmers with mutual consent and therefore, rates are being fixed.
New Noida To Be Completed In Four Phases
New Noida will span 209.11 square km i.e. 20, 911.29 hectares. This master plan project will be completed in four phases. While 3165 hectare area will be completed by 2027, 3798 hectare area will be developed between 2027 to 2032. Thereafter, Noida Authority plans to develop 5908 hectares of land by 2032-37 and remaining 8230 hectares of land by 2037-41.
New Noida’s Temporary Office
For New Noida, where GT Road separates from Eastern Peripheral Expressway, the process of land acquisition of the villages adjacent to it should be started first. This village also includes Jokhabad and Sanwali. Talks are underway with the village heads of these villages. Besides this, a temporary office of DNGIR (New Noida) will be built in Jokhabad and village Sanwali.
