Delhi Pollution: GRAP Stage-II Restrictions Revoked After AQI Remains ‘Moderate’; IMD Predicts Light Rain On…

The decision comes after the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) forecast the AQI to remain at moderate to poor levels. With the revocation of GRAP Stage II restrictions, Inter state buses will be able to enter the national capital.

Delhi Pollution: Residents of Delhi woke up to ‘moderate’ air quality on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, for the fifth consecutive day. The 24-hour average Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded as 187 at 6 am today. Amid a decline in pollution levels, the CAQM (Commission for Air Quality Management) Sub-Committee on GRAP revoked Stage-II restrictions under the extant GRAP schedule in the entire NCR, with immediate effect. The Centre’s panel attributed the improvement in the air quality to a variety of factors such as favorable weather conditions, better mixing height, etc.
