New Delhi: The demand for CNG cars is increasing very fast in the country. Many car manufacturers present in the market are currently focusing their attention towards the CNG segment. In the recent past, we have also got to see many new CNG models in the market. The biggest reason for its demand is the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. Currently Maruti Suzuki is the leading company in this segment. Looking at the growing market in this segment, South Korean automaker Kia Motors may soon launch its CNG cars in the country. This will also include Kia Carens CNG. After launching, this car will compete with cars like Maruti Ertiga CNG and Maruti Grand Vitara CNG. It will be a powerful 7 seater CNG car, which can emerge as a better option in the market.
How will the engine be?
The Kia Carens CNG will be powered by a 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine with a factory fitted CNG kit. This engine can generate 140 PS power and maximum torque of 242 Nm. It can be given 6 speed manual transmission.

Will get more mileage
There is currently a lot of demand in the country in the segment of 7 seater CNG cars. After the launch of Kia Carens CNG, more mileage and many great features can be seen in it. Whereas in terms of look and design, Kia Carens is better than Maruti Ertiga CNG.
How much will be the cost?
The Kia Carens currently comes with petrol and diesel engines. 6 and 7 seater options are available in this car. The car comes in a total of 19 variants with trims like Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus. Currently, the ex-showroom price of this car ranges from Rs. 10.20 lakh to Rs. 18.45 lakh. While the starting price of Carens CNG can be Rs. 12 lakhs.

CNG option will also be available in Sonet
According to the news going on in the media, Kia Motors can also launch its SUV car Sonet in the CNG version in the coming few months. This car will compete with Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG, which will come in the market soon after launching.
